Engagement Models

FES engages the clients in basically two ways :

• Time & Material

The preferred option when the requirements are not well defined or are likely to evolve during the course of the project.

• Fixed Price

  This model is used when the project requirements are well defined and the client wants to limit time and cost exposure.

These engagements are executed in one of the following ways:

• On-site

This model is recommended if the project requirements are changing or the FES-team is part of a larger client team. Also if the risk profile of the client is deemed high.

• Offshore

The client wants to achieve at most within his budget and the project requirements are stable. It is usually best suited for long-term development contracts. The entire team is based offshore.

• Offshore-Onsite Blend

This is the most beneficial model for an engagement. A small FES on-site team for client interaction, program management, design, verification and final implementation. At the same time an off shore development team, based in the Philippines, execute the software development and testing.
